Our re-glaze service is for customers who’ve had a change in their prescription and would like to send their old/current frames over to us so they can get their new prescription lenses fitted.

COMPLETE RIMLESS FRAME-

  • £40 (UNCOATED SINGLE VISION LENSES)

  • £70 (UNCOATED VARIFOCAL LENS)

Please Note- We will send you instructions on where to send your frame after you have placed an order. Also, additional coatings such as antiglare, transitions, polarised etc will cost extra (view our shop page for prices).

Frames That Can't Be Reglazed

We are unable to reglaze the following types of frames:

  • Non-prescription sunglasses

  • Safety glasses or goggles

  • Existing ready readers

  • Frames that are already damaged (see details below)

Checking Frame Suitability

Even if your frames don't fall into the categories above, some may still not be suitable for reglazing. Please ensure your frames meet these conditions:

  • Full Rim and Semi-Rimless Frames: No cracks in the rim.

  • Overall Condition: The frame should not be discoloured or brittle.

  • Semi-Rimless Frames: All screws must be in good condition.

  • Rimless Frames: Lenses should not be secured with a permanent nut and bolt.

Important Disclaimer

Please be aware that reglazing is done at your own risk. The process of inserting new lenses can put stress on older frames, which may have become brittle or flawed over time. This means there is a chance the frame could break during the reglazing process.
